The current Nobbies Centre is proposed to be replaced with a smaller building integrated into the landscape hosting a cafe, shelter, amenities and interpretation with cultural and marine ecology focus. However this consultation is seeking feedback on this concpet.

The artistic impressions of the new Nobbies building and boardwalks are artistic impressions of what the new Nobbies precinct could look like, based off the feedback received to date. These concepts are far from the finished product, with feedback being sought on these and further design development to be conducted.

Throughout the consultation process conducted to date there have been differing views about access around the peninsula, including the South Coast Road. Therefore two options have been created that represent the input received to date. Feedback on these options will play an important role in shaping the the Master Plan outcome.

The Summerland Farm is a parcel of farmland managed by the Nature Parks adjacent to Swan Lake and Ventnor Road at the entry to the Summerland Peninsula. The Nature Parks is seeking future opportunties for this 34 hectares of land that complements the Summerland Peninsula.

The Penguin Parade Visitor Hub concept involves utilising the Penguin Parade Visitor Centre as the Summerland Peninsula’s primary arrival hub with a broader visitor offering and connections to surrounding areas on the peninsula. The feedback received to date has strongly indicated this concept, however further feedback is now being sought on this.
